The key role of the Finance Manager is to ensure the efficient management of the accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate financial information is available to management to support decision making in the efficient administration of ChildLinK’s programme.
1. Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all financial and nor reports and audited accounts in compliance with local laws, accounting standards, and ChildLinK Financial Framework.
2. Prepare budgets and maintain good financial practices in line with international standards.
3. Maintain good cost control procedures and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.
4. Management of specific administrative tasks inclusive of maintaining contracts with donors, partners, employees, and suppliers for the smooth operation of ChildLinK.
Candidates must have formal qualifications in accounting; completion of CAT qualifications or equivalent in Accounting and must have at least three years’ experience I supervisory role. Experience in managing partners, working in administration, and human resources will be advantageous. The successful applicant must be competent in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Peachtree and should have strong interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing, and must know to prioritize own work.
