Child Rights Alliance Parenting Skills Officer, Beverley Bunbury conducted a sensitization session with 35 staff at Qualfon, Plaisance branch, East Coast Demerara on September, 21, 2017. The session is part of the CRA’s advocacy efforts.
The participants participated in a simple activity which focused on domestic violence. The session was very interactive as the staff shared their views on domestic violence. They were able to learn about self care, self development, signs of abuse and the importance of reporting known cases of abuse.
CRA partners such as ChildLinK will continue to engage organizations to sensitize individuals in an effort to create a Guyanese society where every child has the right to grow up in a safe and secure family and community.
