The Child Rights Alliance (CRA) places heavy emphasis on building the capacity of its members so that they can implement their activities more effectively. Several CRA members – more specifically the Community Based Organizations (CBOs) at the grassroots level- received training on narrative and financial reporting on February 15, 2018.
The CBOs are currently providing sensitization and child care counselling in schools, parenting skills education sessions, and engaging communities through community tours. However, these grassroots organizations generally have limited skills in certain technical areas. The CRA will strengthen their capacity by providing training to ensure that they can build their technical skills and deliver more effective services to the community.
The narrative and financial reporting training will help the CBOs to produce more quality financial and narrative reports and strengthen their monitoring and evaluation skills.
