Child Rights Alliance (CRA) partners FACT and ChildLinK distributed 200 bumper stickers and brochures to residents in Rosignol on December 12, 2017. The 16 days of activism may be over but CRA will continue its advocacy efforts to raise awareness and sensitize the public in an effort to protect children from violence and abuse.
Several residents shared their appreciation for the efforts of the CRA stating it is a timely endeavour and more advocacy efforts are needed. There were complaints of child neglect and other forms of child abuse. A football coach in the community requested sensitization sessions for the children on his football team.
The CRA will continue its advocacy efforts engaging parents and children in several formats.
