The Diplomatic Corps of Guyana donated $200,000 to ChildLinK as part of its annual Christmas tradition on December 21, 2017. This was in recognition of ChildLinK‘s contributions to society through its work.

ChildLinK’s vision is to create a Guyanese society where every child has the right to grow up in a safe and secure family and community. ChildLinK started working with children in 1995. Our work has impacted the lives of over 15,000 children. We provide counselling to children and parents in an effort to prevent child abuse. ChildLinK also operates three Child Advocacy Centres (CAC) in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Protection. The CAC provides trauma focused therapy to child survivors of sexual abuse as well as parenting skills education to parents of child survivors of abuse.
